Markets Become Bearish

16.05.2006

Investor’s Coach expert-systems’ warning – Markets turning (at least for a short period) bearish

The Investor's Coach is predicting a market movement - warning its visitors and registered users to be extra cautious. The calculations of the stock analysis expert system, which forms the basis of the Investor’s Coach, have issued these warnings.

Investor’s Coach customers receive sell recommendations via email for Reference Portfolios and Individual Stocks, to secure profit and protect against losses. Capital within the Reference Portfolios has been shifted into cash and more stocks are trading short. This is more specific for the European portfolios, for the Top NASDAQ-100 Reference Portfolio stock analysis is still calculating an uptrend on a more long term basis.

Example:
The Top Europe Reference Portfolio – one stock long, one stock short, 50% in cash.

In the last two years such a market situation has only occurred twice, so this issue is not just a regular swing. The Investor’s Coach is recommending to hold funds in cash while the market is changing and no clear new trends are visible.

The Investor's Coach will take money out of stocks and wait until the optimal time to reinvest, thus reducing risk.

Be on the safe side – Investor’s Coach top tips for traders

- watch the market closely
- cover your positions accordingly
- examine stop loss levels (make sure it is set / updated)
