Trading on the short side

20.07.2006

After a period of uncertainty in the stock market, the main trend was once more identifiable, the market is heading for a downfall straight into the hands of the bear. For those who followed the Investor’s Coach stock recommendations will find themselves in a good position. Our portfolios recovered and are in much better shape.

Currently the market climate is mainly affected with troubles in the Middle East linked with high oil prices, although without these factors the markets would still have been liable to change. Most people did not expect this downturn. However, the Investor's Coach was quick in noticing this change and turned to short trading on speculation of a bearish market. In this way the Investor’s Coach provided good advice to IC members in good time, safeguarding against losses.

US-NASDAQ 100 Portfolio:

At present the reference portfolio is made up of a mixture of long and short stocks, an

excellent position enabling profit to come from all market trends. We have a balanced

portfolio, at least until the next clear NASDAQ trend is revealed. This portfolio has

made a respectable 190% in just over 2 years.

Prospective view for Europe:

All reference portfolios, DAX, ATX, MDAX, are currently trading on the short side.

There could well be a brief recovery in between, giving opportunities for trading

stocks long. The good news is there are no changes expected, thanks to a clearing

market outlook.
